What a beautiful story, Rui! I love this plant known as Scotch broom, but I love the name Maia so much more. From now on I'll be calling them Maias :-)

I tried to plant a bush of Maias in my backyard last spring but it did not do well over the winter, and now only one shoot from the entire bush seems to survive. I haven't given up on it; I hope it will make it!
