This is a wonderful story, Annelie, and it is wonderfully told. Besides the main message, - never give up, - I think of another message of the last couple of paragraphs: there are seasons in life. As much as you wanted that job 38 years ago, and as much as you appreciated your career over the years, you are as much grateful for it to be over now. There is the season for needing and wanting a great job, there is the season for doing it, and there is the season for letting it go. And the greatest thing of all is that you are grateful for each one of these seasons; you are in harmony with what each season is offering you, and accept it with gratitude. Wonderful!
