This is a fascinating theory, Harold, but I look at this in a somewhat different way. I guess you can tell me how different it is from your theory.
My take on this is a lot more simplistic: Foucault, Derrida, and other post-modernists glorify the weak and incapable (calling them unfairly “marginalized”) while blaming the strong and capable for all the problems of Western societies. Clearly, this ideology leads to self-destruction because the incapable and stupid are being promoted to positions of power based on irrelevant considerations such as race and gender. At the same time, the smart and capable are being demonized (e.g., “white privilege”, etc.) and pushed back/down. Obviously, this post-modernist ideology is a perfect tool to destroy Western societies without using any nukes or firing a single shot, and since there are plenty of powerful players who want exactly that, they made sure that the post-modernist ideology has been rooted and planted carefully and firmly in western academia to rotten the minds of the younger generations, turning them into incapable, whining snowflakes, completely unfit for life. And this effort has shifted the “center” to the radical left so that now all sensible and reasonable ideas are labeled as “radical right.”
We live in interesting times indeed...
