Sounds like me :-) I also used to be a "genius" when I was a little kid. I also have a bunch of univ degrees; also used to teach at uni. I also struggle with "social integration"; it has been a persistent challenge throughout my life too. I also hate small talk and prefer to have in-depth discussions. Etc., etc., etc...
