I've never heard of her, Maria, but I just googled a couple of her recent posts on Substack. She doesn't say anything about the scale of corruption, fraud and waste, which is the subject of this article. Either she doesn't know about it (why? this info is readily available to anyone), or chooses not to say anything about it. Instead, she repeatedly uses the words "Americans’ concerns" and "Americans’ sense" meaning her own concerns and senses, which might be shared by a fraction of "Americans" but certainly not by the majority, based on the results of the recent elections. Besides that, her references in the Substack articles are mostly news outlets (?!), which are radical left echo-chambers. Rather than relying on this kind of "sources" of skewed interpretations, some of the first-hand info can be found, for example here: https://www.doge.gov/savings . There is detailed info about the waste, all properly documented (without references to "senses" and "concerns"). Here are some examples, copy-pasted (there are links for more detailed spreadsheet info on the gov website)

$12,148,410

Savings

$40,000,000

Total Contract

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ACTIVITY IS TO IMPROVE THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC INCLUSION OF SEDENTARY MIGRANTS, COLOMBIAN RETURNEES, AND RECEPTOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS

=====

$28,038,500

Savings

$45,288,500

Total Contract

USAID/BURMA DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (DISP)

These are not the worst examples. Transferring $$$ of social security, i.e., taxpayers money, to 150-300 years old people, while some of them might be registered "voters" (TBD) might turn out to be much worse than just "waste." The digging just started; there is a lot more to learn...
