I always look for "lessons learned" in other people's stories. It doesn't mean this is the only reason I'm reading them, and the only things I appreciate in them, but when I do come across a "lesson learned" it always adds an additional dimension to my experience. So, I hope as a writer, to provide similar experiences for my readers. Thanks for sharing your thoughts ; it sounds like they are totally in sync with mine :-)
