Great read. I like to write (and read) letters, and I don't think that e-format makes them less valuable. My tiny family is scattered all over countries and continents. None of my children is settled anywhere; they keep moving from place to place pretty often, unfortunately. So, e-letters are a lot more reliable for us than hand-written ones. Although all of us love the old-fashioned way too, and we do send postcards from time to time, but e-letters is the top choice for the reasons outlined above. I put all my heart an soul into my e-letters, and I do hope one day my children will reread them, and hopefully will cherish them, as much as you you cherish the hand-written letters of your father.

And of course, I must add that you are very lucky to be born into the family of your parents. What a blessing...
